By registering to use the services provided by City of a Thousand Welcomes (CTW), you, the user, are entering into an agreement as stipulated by the terms and conditions listed below.
Please be sure to read these terms and conditions in their entirety, as they are the basis for a contractual agreement between you and CTW. If you disagree with these terms and conditions in whole or in part, do not proceed with the registration process and do not use this website. Additionally, by registering for the services provided by CTW and/or by using the website, you are agreeing with the terms and conditions of this agreement in full.
The terms and conditions of this contract are subject to change at any time by CTW. As soon as any updated terms and conditions are made available and placed on the website for review, new and existing users of the CTW service will be bound to the updated terms and conditions of this contract going forward.
Agreement
This CTW agreement and its terms and conditions constitute a binding contract between you and CTW, and the agreement encompasses your use of the website and the services it provides. By accessing the website, by using any of our current or future services, and by becoming a registered user, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions listed herein.
Eligible Users
In order to use any of the services provided by CTW you must be at least 21 years of age, and be capable of entering into this agreement. Use of CTW is first and foremost exclusively provided for individuals and for personal use only. Unapproved or illegal access or use of the website, using CTW as a mechanism for gathering data, gathering email addresses, or gathering personal or private information can result in criminal investigation, legal action, and prosecution.
Responsibilities
As with any meeting, it is your responsibility to practice sound judgment when deciding to interact with, meet, and establish or end relationships via CTW. As part of this agreement, you acknowledge and recognize that CTW cannot perform background or security checks on any of its current or future users, and that we cannot account for the personalities, practices, or actions of our users. It is also your responsibility to practice sound judgment when deciding to attend places or events created via the CTW site. Dublin is one of the friendliest cities in Europe. However, we cannot account for nor do we audit the life of the city. Additionally, as part of this agreement it is recognized that CTW cannot be held legally responsible for any damages sustained in any manner or resulting from an interaction or relationship with another CTW user.
Prohibited Actions
The list below represents those actions that a user or user of the CTW site must adhere to while using the site:
•You will not break the law
•You will not impersonate anyone
•You will not provide false information
•You will not harass any person or CTW
•You will not violate the privacy or rights of any user
•You will not violate any copyright or trade-mark laws
•You will not solicit for funds
•You will not solicit any advertisement or information leading to promotion of product or service
•You will not ask individuals for financial information
•You will not provide personal contact information
•You will not disrupt the CTW service or website, or its supporting servers and/or network
•You will not upload any electronic files that harm CTW, its software, its database, or its usership
•You will not attempt to use any measures to access the CTW database or any data stored or used by the CTW website
Content
Any and all content or information provided to CTW by a user of the website becomes the property of CTW, and as such CTW retains the right to manage this data as it deems fit or appropriate. This means that CTW controls the licensing, usage, copying, editing, and representation of this data and associated content.
Privacy
As a CTW user and by agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also agree to our Privacy Statement and Policy which is available on the CTW website. CTW takes great strides in protecting our servers, software and databases. This is so that any information you provide us is optimally protected, and that any unauthorized access to this information is prevented. However, we cannot ensure the confidentiality, security, or privacy of your information that you supply via email, over the internet, or post publicly for viewing for the general public. Additionally, for any information that you share publicly we cannot ensure how other individuals will interpret or use this information. This means that by accepting this agreement you absolve and release CTW from any liability associated with how this public information is used by other parties, other than yourself.
At any given time, CTW and its administrators will monitor photos, information, postings, messages, and videos for content and profanity, and CTW reserves the right edit or remove any and all information at its discretion.
Termination of Service
CTW reserves the right to terminate a user’s access to CTW’s services without notice. This will be based on a determination that a user has violated this agreement in whole or in part. You agree that CTW will not be liable to you or to any third party if you service is suspended.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify CTW and its entire staff, from any damages or losses, legal fees, or other fees that we have to endure as a result of your actions or use of our services. You shall fully collaborate and cooperate in the defense of any claim brought upon CTW resulting from your actions.
Warranty
Our service to you is provided on an as is basis, and we do not warranty that our service will continually be available. Additionally, we cannot validate the accuracy of any personal data provided to us by our users, and as such we cannot provide any warranties regarding users and places, events and the information they make available to the other users of CTW.
Modifications
CTW retains the right to change the terms and conditions of this agreement at any time. If a change is made to this documentation, a notice will be placed on the website to alert our user community that the change has occurred.
Email and other Communications
You may not reproduce any CTW proprietary materials or information without explicit written consent by CTW.
